Dear colleagues, dear travelers, we hasten to share important news with you.
From January 1, 2018, in accordance with changes in the tax legislation of Greece, guests of hotels in the country, in addition to the cost of living paid when booking a room, will also be required to pay a certain amount when checking into a hotel.
The amount varies depending on the star category of the hotel:
- Hotel 5 * - 4 euros per day per room
- Hotel 4 * - 3 euros per day per room
- Other categories of hotels - 1.5 euros per day per room
Please note that due to Greek law, this amount cannot be paid at the time of booking. Guests of country hotels must pay directly on the spot.
